A week to go before our 2007 SINGLES GETAWAY! Three days, two nights of fun, friendships and an opportunity to focus on what matters most in life starting September 7 until September 9 (Friday to Sunday). All in the beautiful Mount Sea Grand Resort, Cavite.
Expect lots of free time, challenging and sometimes wacky activities, and relevant talks to fill your weekend as you get away from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila. So get ready to relax, reflect, and relate with new friends!
Please see below for information on what to prepare and what to expect.
Where are we meeting up? What time are we leaving? How will we get to Mount Sea Resort?
We’re all gathering at the Every Nation Building in Fort Bonifacio. That’s the cool blue building across of Market! Market!. A bus will be ready to take us to Mount Sea Resort, Cavite. Please arrive at 7:30AM. Our ETD (expected time of departure) is 8AM.
Can I leave my car at the Fort parking area?
Due to the fact that the parking area will be used on Sunday, we can’t leave our cars in the Fort parking area for the duration of our time in Mount Sea Resort. Please find alternative means of coming to the Every Nation Building in Fort Bonifacio.
What do I need to prepare?
Here’s a basic list of things to bring for the Singles Getaway:
• A Bible – it is a retreat after all
• comfortable clothes good for 3 days (no business suits please)
• proper swimming attire - There’s a pool there (free), as well as facilities for water activities (not free)
• sporty attire for our sportsfest – rubber shoes, shorts / jogging pants, etc. I recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting wet during our games
• costume for our special event: HOLLYWOOD NIGHT! – come dressed as a popular movie or TV celebrity, or as a famous character in a movie or TV show (cartoons included)
Optional things to bring:
• camera – think of all the amazing photos we’re going to be taking during these three days. Plus we can show off everyone’s costumes on our blogsites
• laptop – there’s free WiFi there, so we can post our pictures on Multiply real-time!
I haven't paid yet. Where can I pay?
We’d like to encourage everyone to pay the registration fee of Php 4,500 on August 26 or on September 2 at the information table during our Sunday services in the Fort. If you’re paying with a check, please pay by September 2 so the check can be processed in time for September 7.
You can also pay on September 7, Friday AM at the Fort before we leave for Mount Sea Resort (cash only please). Please look for Mayet Lempin, she’ll have a table ready for you then.
Can I still bring a friend?
Yes, definitely. The more, the many-er. If you have a friend who is sure to come but hasn’t registered yet, please inform us by replying to this post or calling us at 8171212 during office hours (look for Mayet Lempin). Last day of registration is on September 2, Sunday.
What time will we be back in Manila?
Our ETA (expected time of arrival) is 4:30-5PM at the Fort.
